All-rounder set for scan on abdominal injury
Stuart Broad should find out on Thursday whether or not he will be fit in time for the World Cup.
The England all-rounder has not played since suffering an abdominal strain in the second Ashes Test victory over Australia in Adelaide.
The injury ruled Broad out the rest of the Test series, which England won 3-1, as well as the limited overs games - with the 24-year-old flying home for treatment.
Broad will now have a scan on the injury - with positive news vital for his hopes of playing in the World Cup.
Broad wrote on Twitter: "Big scan today, injury update this afternoon. Be good touch wood!"
