Frankfurt coach rewarded with a new deal
Head coach Michael Skibbe has extended his contact with Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt until 2012.
The former Germany assistant has been in charge of the club since July 2009 after succeeding Friedhelm Funkel.
And, following a 10th-placed finish with Die Adler last season, club bosses have been suitably impressed with the 45-year-old.
Skibbe, a former Leverkusen and Galatasary coach has now been rewarded with a new deal with his contract set to expire in June.
Frankfurt, along with Bayer Leverkusen are the only sides to have beaten leaders Borussia Dortmund this season.
Skibbe has steered his side to eighth in the Bundesliga this season after 19 matches but were beaten 1-0 by Hamburg on Friday night.
