General manager to stay at Signal-Iduna-Park until 2014
Runaway Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund have announced the contract extension of general manager Michael Zorc.
The former Germany international is now set to remain at Signal-Iduna-Park until June 2014.
Zorc originally had a contract which would have expired in June 2012, but he was more than happy to sign an extension.
He told Dortmund's official website: "I am glad to stay on. I am happy to have signed a new contract.
"We have great confidence in everyone's work and I feel such confidence is not usual in this business."
Zorc joined Dortmund's backroom staff at the end of his playing career with the club in 1998.
The 48-year-old then became general manager when Michael Meier was sacked in 2005.
