Leaders held after late equaliser by Auxerre
Ligue 1 leaders Lille were held to a late draw, while Toulouse beat struggling Monaco to rise to seventh.
Dariusz Dudka struck a late equaliser for Auxerre to hold Lille to a 1-1 draw at the Stade de l'Abbe-Deschamps.
Moussa Sow opened the scoring with a spectacular finish in the 12th minute but the leaders could not extend that advantage and were made to pay two minutes from time when Dudka levelled.
The result nevertheless moved Lille five points clear of Paris St Germain at the summit, while 15th-placed AJA inched two points above the drop zone.
Sow almost opened the scoring as early as the fifth minute, getting his shot past Olivier Sorin but it drifted just wide.
The Senegal striker did make the breakthrough soon after, though. Ligue 1's top scorer took advantage of Auxerre's failure to clear the ball and produced an acrobatic finish from just inside the area, tucking the ball inside the stranded Sorin's left-hand post.
The hosts threw caution to the wind in the final quarter of an hour in pursuit of the equaliser and finally grabbed their point in the 88th minute, Dudka finishing clinically from substitute Frederic Sammaritano's free-kick with the Lille defence static.
Toulouse moved up to seventh in the Ligue 1 table with a comfortable 2-0 win over struggling Monaco.
A second-half brace from Moussa Sissoko made the difference for the home side, but they were rarely troubled by their under-par opponents.
Toulouse's pressure finally told four minutes after the break, with Cheik M'Bengue's cross finding Mahamadou Diarra and, after his header was parried by Stephane Ruffier, Sissoko was on hand to prod home the rebound.
Sissoko then put the game to bed when his drive went in off the post with 13 minutes remaining to keep Monaco second from bottom in the table.
In Ligue 1's last game on Sunday, Lyon and Bordeaux played out a goalless stalemate.
