Midfielder to sign two-year deal at Bloomfield Road
Skysports.com understands Barry Ferguson has agreed his move to Blackpool from Birmingham.
As revealed by skysports.com last week, Blackpool were closing in on the signing of the midfielder after agreeing an undisclosed fee with their Championship rivals for his services.
Ferguson has now agreed personal terms and passed his medical to allow him to seal his switch to Bloomfield Road.
The former Rangers man is believed to have agreed a two-year deal with the option for a further 12 months.
Ferguson will help fill the void left by Charlie Adam's departure to Liverpool and David Vaughan's exit to Sunderland.
The news is a major boost for Seasiders boss Ian Holloway as he looks to build a side capable of winning promotion back to the Premier League.
