Osasuna 3-2 Barcelona
The loss has given La Liga leaders Real Madrid the chance to establish a big 10 point lead over the Catalans in the race for the title should Jose Mourinho's men beat Levante on Sunday.
"We're a bit sad, but that's normal after you lose," Pedro told the club's website.
"It was a game where we couldn't afford to lose, we lost the points.
"It truly was a difficult match."
Barca were certainly guilty of a slow start against Osasuna at Estadio Reyno de Navarra and found themselves two goals down at the break thanks to a brace from Dejan Lekic. Alexis Sanchez responded to Pep Guardiola's team talk with a goal just six minutes into the second half but Raul Garcia lifted the home side with a third goal for Osasunal five minutes later.
Barca substitute Cristian Tello scored the consolation goal for Barca 17 minutes from the end.
"We were better in the second half, we even had the chance to mount a comeback. Despite it all, we're disappointed with the final result," Pedro said.
"La Liga is possible, but 10 points down is difficult to come back from. We'll keep on fighting until the end
"Osasuna started off strong in the first half and it was difficult for us to get into the game. In the second half we had the chance to make a comeback but in the end we weren't able to"
