Defender signs two-and-a-half-year deal
Juventus have confirmed the signing of Andrea Barzagli from Wolfsburg on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
The experienced defender, 29, underwent a medical on Wednesday and the transfer has now been finalised.
Juve announced on their official website that Barzagli had penned a contract until June 2013, with Wolfsburg receiving an initial €300,000 (£260,000).
Barzagli has spent the past three years with Wolfsburg, helping them to the Bundesliga title in 2009.
He will now be hoping for more success back in his homeland, although he will not take part in the Coppa Italia quarter-final against Roma on Thursday night.
The Italy international could make his debut in the Serie A match at home to Udinese this weekend.
