West Indian Andre Russell came up with a spectacular show as Khulna Royal Bengals defeated Dhaka Gladiators by 19 runs.
Batting first in the Bangladesh Premier League encounter in Dhaka, Khulna scored 175-5 riding on some good performances by Shakib al Hasan and Dwayne Smith.
Russell then came up with some late flourish as Khulna set up a stiff target for Dhaka to chase.
In reply, Dhaka lost Imran Nazir early on but then Azhar Mahmood kept the score card ticking.
Khulna kept things tight as regular wickets ensured that Dhaka's star batsman Kieron Pollard was left with a difficult chase but not an impossible one.
Pollard scored 39 of 32 balls, but in the end it was just not good enough as Gladiators fell 19 runs short of target.

Barisal Burners beat Duronto Rajshahi
Barisal Burners defeated Duronto Rajshahi by 22 runs in the second game of day two of the Bangladesh Premier League at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.
Ahmed Shehzad started the proceedings on a brisk note as Chris Gayle surprisingly opted to play the second fiddle.
Shehzad top scored with 67 runs as Barisal managed 180/2 in their stipulated twenty overs.
Duronto started the chase with opener Mizanur Rahman scoring a brilliant fifty. Rahman however, failed to garner any support from the other end.
Barisal kept chipping in with regular wickets as the required run-rate kept a northward movement throughout.
In the end, Duronto were restricted to 158/9.
